Support

Effective

The short version

Something wrong, something confusing, or a question about your data: write to support@mybiobyte.com and a person will answer.

Three things you can do yourself, right now, without asking us: delete your account and everything in it, clear your chat history, and correct a value BioByte read wrong before it is filed.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. Do not use BioByte or wait for a reply from us.

Getting in touch

Email support@mybiobyte.com. Write from the address on your account where you can, since it saves a round trip proving the account is yours.

You never need to send us a medical document or a lab value to get help. If we need to look at what went wrong, the reference code the app shows on an error is enough for us to find the request.

Common questions

How do I delete my account, and what goes with it?

Open BioByte, go to Vault, and choose Delete my vault. You will be asked to confirm, because it cannot be undone.

It removes your uploaded files from storage and then deletes your account, which takes everything tied to it: your profile, your timeline, every extracted value, your conditions and medications, your chat history and the search index over your documents. It happens immediately and it ends your sessions. There is no grace period and we cannot restore it afterwards, so export anything you want to keep first.

How do I get a copy of my record?

In the app, Vault's Export everything builds a doctor-ready summary of your profile, conditions, medications and lab results. For a copy of everything we hold for you, write to us. We will check that you control the account first.

BioByte read a value wrong. Can I fix it?

Yes, and this is the point of the review step. When BioByte finishes reading a document it shows you what it found, with how confident it was, before anything is filed. You can edit a value or its unit right there, and your correction is what enters your record. The original reading is kept beside it, so the record can always show you both. If a unit is one BioByte does not recognise, the row cannot be added until you fix it, which is deliberate: a wrong unit is worse than no data.

What happens to a document I reject?

Rejecting an extraction discards everything that was pulled out of the document. Nothing from it enters your record. The original file is kept so the document can be read again later, and it is deleted when you delete your account.

What can I upload?

PDFs, and JPEG, PNG or HEIC images, up to 25 MB each. Photographs of paper work as well as exports from a patient portal. If an upload is refused, it is almost always the file type or the size.

Is BioByte medical advice?

No. BioByte holds your records and gives you general wellness information about them. It does not diagnose, it does not prescribe, and it will not tell you to start, stop or change a medication. Those decisions belong with your clinician. For an emergency, call your local emergency number rather than opening the app.

Something is broken, or an upload will not process.

Tell us what you were doing and roughly when. If the app showed you a reference code, send that too: it lets us find the exact request in our logs without you having to send us anything about your health.
